Depression era necklace from Santo Domingo Pueblo. These are classic tourist trade necklaces created during the Great Depression from scrap turquoise, 78rpm records, melted toothbrushes and often cow bone beads. Circa 1940's. This necklace slips easily over the head and has ten tabs, five on each side.
