Master contemporary jeweler Richard Chavez is known as one of the finest lapidarists in the American Southwest. He was born in 1949 in the village of San Felipe Pueblo, in New Mexico.
This sterling silver necklace has lapis, coral and turquoise inlay. The necklace is constructed in the most ingenious way. The pendant swings and adjusts to the wearer's movement via a hidden pin/hinge.
