Large Navajo manta pin, circa 1940's, made from sterling silver and American turquoise. These pins were worn on velvet blouses, often nestled among layers of beads and other necklaces. A real statement! Scratched on the back it says 'Annie Roanhorse, Red Lake, Arizona', either by the maker or a previous owner.
